Course Description
Fundamentals Course
This is a one-month course that will have you training three days a week. During the four weeks of training, we will systematically integrate you into the CrossFit program. Movement and consistency will be the priority. We will incorporate basic linear strength training daily. The goal is to create a small community environment within the Fundamentals program that is focused on learning, skill development and increasing fitness while gearing you up to join the Level 1 group classes.
Skills and Fitness Assessment
The Skills and Fitness Assessment is used to evaluate incoming members who would like to forgo the Fundamentals program. If you have a background in gymnastics, Olympic weight-lifting or CrossFit, then this assessment may be the most practical way into our Level 1 group training classes.
Personal Training
For clients who want the added benefit of individualized attention, or for those unable to attend group classes, personal training remains an outstanding alternative. Clients enjoy one-on-one time with their preferred coach, and workouts are tailored to the individual.
Group Training
If you enjoy the dynamic of a group atmosphere, group classes are an excellent option. Make friends, have fun, and get fit! Cheer on your friends as they push themselves to their limit, and appreciate the same support when you find yours. Classes are structured and planned by the coaches, and the Workout of the Day (WOD) is posted on the blog daily before classes begin.
Nutrition Counselling
For those looking to optimize performance or just slim down, CrossFit Lineage offers nutrition counselling with our resident nutritionist. Information about common nutritional programs such as “The Zone” and “The Paleo Diet” are available, along with recipe advice, calorie intake calculations, and macro-nutrient recommendations.
