At CrossFit Lineage, we offer strength and conditioning coaching for both fitness and sport. Whether you are in need of a performance edge or simply are interested in becoming healthier and fitter, we will deliver results. We are proud to be one of the few facilities in the Edmonton area specializing in CrossFit training. We have been in operation since 2008.
What is the CrossFit Program?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program. It delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, sports and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We have used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and elite athletes. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. Skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. The guiding principle at the core of our programming is constantly varied, functional movements, performed at high intensity.
This program will provide you with a solid foundation in the fundamental movements of CrossFit. Through each class we will increase the intensity to prepare you for group classes. We believe in ensuring proper mechanics and consistency of movement before progressing to high-intensity workouts.
Once you have completed the Fundamentals program, we offer group classes that are led by qualified and experienced coaches.
Are you tired of not being able to perform better because "you are not flexible enough?” Is your mobility keeping you from achieving your performance goals? Then this class is for you.
All of our coaches are certified personal trainers, and we can put together personal training programs, mobility programs and endurance programs and help you achieve your individual goals. Individual sessions are available, as are discounts for multiple sessions and options for sharing with a second person.
CrossFit Kids pairs fitness AND fun to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children. Our goal is to educate kids about functional fitness and encourage them to pursue it. Ages 5-9 or 10-14.
